Ok, I know this is a simple question. And I know it's been asked before. And I know I should just search. Trust me, I've searched. All I can find either doesn't apply to my situation or it's been contradicted by another source. You guys seem very knowledgable. So I'm throwing myself at your mercy.

Heres my deal. I have a PSP fat. It's running the 3.52 official release firmware. It has the TA-82 motherboard, if that matters. I want to downgrade. I have an extra battery to do the Pandora thing. But heres the snag. I don't have another PSP running a custom firmware and I don't have access to one.

So can it be done, and if so, can someone please post a link to instruction that will work in my situation? Can you make a Pandora battery and downgrade from 3.52 with out a second PSP?

Thank you very much.

Thank you for the help, and the insult. I did see the second thread you linked to. But since it said PSP slim right in the title, and I didn't see where it mentioned tha it would also work on the fat, I thought I'd go ahead and post the question. I thought this being a forum, and I tried to be respectful, that maybe people would be ok with my starting a new thread on the subject. I even mentioned in my question that I searched and found threads that were close but not my exact situation. So will the solutions that are stated to be for the slim work just as well on my fat?

So hopefully, someone who knows more than you will chime in and be more helpful. But thanks for trying though.

Yes this will work with the fat batt as well. And if you solder very carefully w/ a fine tip you can (after getting psp to CFW) put the pin back and once again have a normal batt. then when pan batt is needed again just run one of the many batt creator tools out there to change into pan batt and back to normal. Good Luck and be very carefull cause you can short your batt making it anywhere from no good to smoke to blow up doing this.

Thanks for the info. I modded my battery last night, gonna try the downgrade tonight. I'm lucky enough to work on small electronics for a living, so I was able to do mine under a microscope, which made it nice.
