official demos don't work.....

Why don't official demos work any more?
I have a PSP Slim with 3.71m33, and a PSP 'fat' with 3.40 OE-A
on both of them, official game demos do not work, but i can run ISOs and homebrew no problem.

is there some kind of setting i need to mess with to get the official code to work properly?

I always get a GAME CANNOT BE STARTED error message.

I had this problem too. if i can remember right, you must place the demos NOT in the GAME folder, but like, GAME371 or whatever it is. also in recovery you must have your KERNEL set to 371, not 150. but bottom line, its all in WHERE you place the demo eboot, and what your kernel is set to. never place official demos in your GAME folder anymore. that fixed my problem.

Strange...the locoroco official demo works fine in the GAME directory on 3.71m33.

It is set to 3.71 kernel. i tried in GAME and GAME371. i wonder if the problem is the eboot itself. i'll try some things later.
