I hope there's skinning support because this looks worse than the text only gui. Sorry, Dicky, you're no graphic designer - but an awesome programmer!

hehe my thoughts... :D
design could be much better. but honestly i prefer this instead of the old gui.

anyway pimpstreamer is awesome... functionality first!

Needs some help here.. Same problems as the beta…Playback stops and jumps repeatedly. And now the video just plays in a small distorted window with slanted bars running through it. I’ve tried several Movie bitrates, Audio bitrates, Framerates and PSP render sizes. I’ve stopped all non-essential processes on the server PC. Pimpstreamer runs at ~12% CPU. I have WEP enabled. Any ideas? Another annoying problem is the screen will occasionally go totally black. Hitting X gets the display back. PSP Slim running M33-2 totally shut down and restarted several times. Still no joy. The movies I'm trying to stream are PSP specific mp4 @ native res.

is wifi power saving on, on your psp?

No WLAN Power Save is OFF

Here is a pic of the problem
http://i23.tinypic.com/2iu4awk.jpg

as you can see the movie is condensed into a small vid and is made up of two images overlapped with diagonal bars moving through it. I've tried several vids after restarting everything and now it's stuck in this distorted size. And it still studders.

+10 points if you can tell me what TV Series intro thats from :)

is doesnt run too well on my fat psp either - old version was lots better. You can't change the video size, which is why its such a small square on the screen....

Thanks for the tip. That gave me an idea by changing the Render size PSP setting. I was hoping by knocking down the render size it would smoothen out the heavy studdering problem while keeping it full screen (although heavily pixelated). But I guess that function needs more work.

you can access it over the internet, but you better have an awesome upload and download speeds at home and where you're using it at.

This new version works fine for me, tested with a tv cap xvid and playback was perfect, jittery at some points however that's to be expected with video over wireless.

it works slightly better than the beta versions for me.
seems the sweet spot is 400-450 video and 96-128 audio.

Hopefully he works on the offline feature so maybe we can crank the bitrate up since it'll be straight off the memstick. Almost close to playing avi's on the psp :D

well i don't know if any other newer homebrew apps have replaced this gem but i just want to give it some love. just installed pimpstreamer on my slim and am loving it!

i'd also love buffering ability as well to avoid stuttering completely but overall works great.
