Going Back to 3.52M33-4 from 3.71 (CFW)

How to you go back from cfw 3.71M33 to cfw 3.52M33??
Can use the Recovery? Or have to use the Pandora.

i doubt it can actually be done w/o another psp running 1.5 to do the battery mod. ill have to get my hands on a friends one or just wait til 1.5 kernel for 3.71 f/w is released

Nope, only Pandora's Battery will work at the moment.

apparently because dax has used sonys own code to run his cf update you can't reflash 3.71m33 from recovery. you just get the message "already on 3.71 no need to update"

For those who want to go back, either you have to use Pandora's way, or just wait a few days for Dark_AleX's universal unbricker for PSP fat & slim :p

What we think, was to use the version for Firmware 1.00 of the program 'PSP Filer' using the eLoader 1.00, to recovery a PSP for another stage that has been backuped using this same program (PSP Filer)

The idea is theoricaly possible, but to put it on practice, the interested would have do have on the MemoryStick a backup from his old CFW made with PSP Filer... (How to: With the program activated, press /\, after L and follow the screen instructions for backup)

To install the backups back you would have to:

- Turn the Filler via eLoader (yes it works)
- Ativate the HACKER MODE pressing L+ <- + R at some time (L + Right on the analogic + R);
- Press /\, and L to enter on the Flash recovering menu
- Finnaly, press START to recovery flash0 or Select to recovery Flash1

Attention:
- Turn off any Plugin before using this;
- Run the eLoader 1.00 from Recovery
- Have the backups of the flash1 and 0 on the MemoryStick;
- When it finishes both operations (recovery flash1 and 0), press O to continue with the PSP On.

ended up doing this with pandora had to get a mates psp, downgrade it with lumines then patch the battery:), he was happy coz in the end he got 3.52m33-4

i wanted to revert to 3.52 m33-4 because nitepr doesnt work along with all my plugins...

also decided to go back to 3.52m33, after testing, i think its best to wait till 3.71 can be customized to the extent 3.52 can be...makes you laugh really sony block us using custom themes succesfully (for now) yet they didn't stop iso loading in the slightest...strange policy for sony's so called security updates.

I'm kind of sceptic about whether that 1.5 plugin will be released. Like what the *beep* happened to M33's website??? Went back down to 3.52 m33 4 coz its nicer (cxmb) and things like pandoras battery can't be done in 3.71m33 so be aware. :)

hmm thats weird the site was up just yesterday, but i believe the 1.5 kernel patch will be released eventually along with the unbrickers:). i dont see any reason to upgrade however unless games require the new kernel/fw(although i stupidly did lol:P)
