Do any of you jave experience with changing the home screen using the Imposer Gui?

I'm short on time, so I need someone to guide me the way without experimenting and wasting time. Plus I don't want it to be a brick.
Any help there?
I'm not a noob and I have read guides, all I need is some more details to do a last process.
