Custom Firmware Extender 1.4 Video Capture Preview

Hi !

Today i have finally started again to "work" on my little Custom Firmware Extender (cfe) and want to share a little preview of the new feature i implemented. We now have the ability to make some in-game video with it, i hope you will enjoy when it will be ready !

I have been using your cfe since it came out and it has remained compatible with all firmwares. Thanks, i thought you had giving up on it, but thanks again for continuing your work.

I have just changed a few things, and it dont seems to have any lags anymore like we see on the burnout video :)

Maybe you could work in the 5th level brightness in this 1.4 release?

Here is a new video captured with an improved code and work great now at 30fps withtout any lag, i dont think it will be possible to do better :)

Yes it's based on remotejoy, the psp transfer data in bulk mode then it's captured as bmp to the pc via USB. There is no other possibility to record at 30fps. You will have to encode the result with virtualdub for exemple as usual.

What's about the 5th level brightness, there is a new level discovered ?! Maybe you are talking about the brightness level available when the psp is plugged with the power cord, or a higher level than that ?

How slow does the game get when recording? I remember trying to record a bike chase scene, but the game lagged horribly when recording, and so I crashed right into the wall.

Cpasjuste, about that 5th level brightness. Its not the 4th level or ac pluged in brightness. It's a real 5th level. Coolj made a plugin for it. Its in this forum.
It would be great to have this option in your excellent plugin.:D
