Anyone here know how to add subtitles to .avi?

It's for Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. I have ripped videos and translation and would like to add eng subs to them and compile the videos back to the game itself, so it could have eng subs :D

i want to know how to make them and then add them, it would be great if someone knew how to do it and teach me.

Use Aegisub to create a subtitle file then reencode the video with the subtitles.

My reason is coz i read what it told me to do, and i gt an error opening the exe, but try that dl and install method but still got the same error :(

The author's site doesn't seem to have the stable build of Aegisub anymore for some reason. BTW how did you get the video from the game?

I extracted the .pkg files with an extractor :D
