Hi guys,

I got a quick question. Ok to start off, I have a bunch of friends wtih psp's and yes I've downgraded them all and put 3.52 m33-4 :). One of my friends though has 2 psp's. 1 of them has 3.52 m33-4 and the other one is 1.50. The problem is that the one with 1.50 has a broken LCD screen and somewhat broken joystick. He gave it to me since I helped him into the homebrew scene :D but is it really worth it to fix it? A brand new LCD screen cost around 39.99 and a new joystick base is like 15.99. I've already got a psp but a second one would be handy for testing new firmware's and reporting feedback to CFW developers for ex. M33 or wildcard. Thanks if any replies :D

hehe... this is what my friend did for me.. my psp was messed up... my friend went to wal mart to buy a brand new psp... he carefully removed the tape and took out the psp.. and put my broken one inside and i kept the new one.. he then closed the box and then returned the psp and said that the person he bought it for did not want it anymore..he got his money back... and i got a brand new psp... you can probably switch the serial numbers just to be safe.. but if you open up and close the box without making it look like its been opened you won't need to.. my friend did it twice and they did not check it at all

$55< $170 it would cost you to buy a new psp. but if you really dont want it i could use it. Im sure m33 and wilcard have testers and with pandora battery all psp can be used to test firmware. so again if you dont want it, id be glad to take this burden off your back:p

And the elite have legalized theft through the use of banks. There is no right or wrong when it comes to the economy. Otherwise .05% of the worlds population would not hold all important stocks and financial assetts in the world.

This is fair game. :D

that is nothing to be proud of some poor person is going to buy that psp and find that is smashed up.when they take it back and the store see's the box has been opened they might just think they are pulling a scam and not change it.my friend is the manager of a game store in the uk and i would never pull a stunt like that on him or any other store.you should be ashamed of yourself..................sudeki300

Just try taking an empty DVD case back because someone jacked the disc from the case. I would be pissed to have a $150 piece of **** and not even be able to return it because it looked like I bought it and broke it.
There's no honor among thieves anymore I guess. :(

I would donate it to one of the Dev teams as a way of saying thanks. Either fix the screen problem before or just send it as it is.

it's far easier to rip off walmart than you think, just switch the serial stickers and say it doesn't work. that way they'll attempt to send it back to sony and walmart will get screwed rather than another gamer ('cuz obviousely sony won't accept it back).

but either way, it's not the most honest thing to do. and Walmart's been tightening their return policies because of people that do that.
