and was wondering, this is a kinda clone chip, does it come with a disc to update or can I used the WiiKey update ?

Ahh cool. Does anyone know if the leaked v1.9 update works on this chip?

how is the wiikit? Or have you not gotten it yet? Also where did you get it from, and how long did it take you to get it?

I was also thinking about getting the wiikit from divineo.cn.

I have the wiikit, and installed one on my friend's wii

works flawlessly -- i have not tried the 1.9 update yet (dont really have a reason to)

works with 1.2 disc (though i believe it already has 1.2 installed on it).

The best part is it halves the number of solder points from 12 to 6 (assuming you are not doing the quicksolder method) -- as I'm sure everyone will agree that the soldering is the point at which one is most likely to fail -- reducing this number is in your best interest.

I don't see any downside to the chip -- it is cheaper and easier to install

I hope someone can chime in on it working with 1.9

Bought mine from Divineo, got it in under a week and works great!!

Hardly any wires to solder together.

Elmshawn, did you choose the standard $5 shipping? Also what state do you live in? Just trying to see how long it will take to get to CA if i just use the standard $5 shipping option. Thanks

I just ordered 2 wiikits from Divineo.cn this morning, i will let you know how long it takes for me to get them using the $5 shipping option as well., i live in CA.
