View Full Version : M3DS Simply vs. CycloDS

Should I get a M3 DS Simply or a CycloDS. I can't find a full feature list of the M3, I heard it has soft reset... what is the difference?

CycloDS has mor4e features go for Cyclo... i have both and CycloDS wins lol

m3 vs cyclods hey? the biggest difference is price wise. M3 simply basically does what you expect it to do. Play music, games, videos. The cycloDS is the same BUT it has extra features such as SDHC (microSD high capacity) a special menu, you don't need to wait for patches for new games such as worms owf 2 -cough- R4 -cough- i myself own an EZ V and a brand new Supercard DS 1 and i have touched 1 r4 so i wouldn't know how an R4 plays

Cyclo DS is more expensive and has a small handful of extra features, some of which most won't need to use. M3 and R4 just work with everything required.

I have a CycloDS and its an amazing little thing. But i was wondering about the M3 Simply, i heard reports that the Download play is dodgy on that i this true? as Multiplayer gaming is a big factor, as i was planning on getting my nieces some, and download play is a must.

I know its flawless on the Cyclo but trying to save a few pennies. But if it has to be the Cyclo then so it has to be it.

i have just recently got a DS and went for the CycloDS and have to say i am extremely pleased with it. no probs or issues with any homebrew or games. no patching for some of the latest games either.

Are you speaking the truth? Cos i was reading the GBATemp review and they said its a bit shite.

Whats the support and compatibility like with these? As good as the Cyclo?

Download play works great after you update your R4/M3

Dload play has worked fine for everything so far for me on the M3

They should at least update their reviews instead of eternally leading people to believe it is shi-aight. Or review the firmware updates too, as they come.
