AVI Player v0.2 for the PSP

Myungwoon has released an updated version of his AVI player for the PSP, this is a port of the AVI Player for the GP32 named GP Cinema. The main new feature of this release is that it supports sound decoding.

What's new in AVI Player v0.02

- This version supports sound decoding. but,the supported codec is still limited(video-DIVX and audio-MP3)
- I am working on more codec support and more optimization, but many timer related API and IRQ routines are still undiscovered. I am also working hard to discover the API. But I am not a professional programmer, so the optimization is slow, unfortunately.

Supports 480x272 videos! :D
Too bad there are still no controls for this program so you can't so much as stop the video once it's begun. Looking forward to future releases.

Awsome about the 480x272 been waiting for a answer to our problems. Little tool noobs may want to use is pocketdivx encoder. Has the options and its not to hard to use. However not sure if the encoders are valid for it or not. Not sure myself i am testing it out as we speak, there is a xvid option in the too but like I said no clue. Peeps just might want to check it out. Will post results and short tutorial when finished.

The GP-Cinema program he's porting from supports Xvid, so hopefully it won't be too much more work to get that going as well. Divx4 is an odd codec to support by default.

Any one know where i can get a good set of tools to make a compatible avi for it or a good front end tool.
