Xbox 360 + 103" HDTV - one hell of a Nerdgasm

The title pretty much says it all, the Xbox 360 and a new 103" HDTV is pretty much enough to produce the biggest nerdgasm known to nerdkind. That's a lot of track on Forza 2! Isn't 103"'s just that little too big? Now we see what they mean by bigger isn't always better.

I think 40" for a HDTV is approprate for Full HD, only problem with HDTVs is you have to sit further back the bigger it is or the picture is going to look terrible

As far as games go, unless it is in 1080p, everything else runs at 1280x720. There aren't any 360 games that got 1080p and few PS3 games that do. Even 1920x1080 would look like sh1t on a screen that size. Imagine all the Jaggies you get to see.... oh yea.......

As for "even at 1920x1080 would look **** at on a screen that size" You obviously have little knowledge with regard to HDTV resolution and distance. 1080P is best suited to screens larger than 42", even projectors giving an image of 100" and above but you need to sit further away from the screen. You would need to sit at least 20ft away from a 103" screen to get the full benefit of the picture. Granted the picture with this post is missleading due to the fact that he is way to close to the screen and yes the pixels would look too big at that distance and look ****.

1080p doesnt look bad at all on the panny 103" maybe you should see it in the flesh before you mke a comment just based on the photo i saw the screen at a trade show and it looked very good and this was also up close

Exactly!! IT IS UPSCALED, which isn't the same as 1080p. Same thing with Ps2 games on the PS3.... they also get upscaled to 1080p, so that means all PS2 games are 1080p while PS3 games are not..... you fail....
