ok there's two things i dont understand:
you need 1.5 or cfw to use this? so you cant downgrade newest sony firmwares?
and this means if the app modifies the battery, that the battery contains a flash...?

the memory stick and the battery need to be setup on cfw or 1.50... after that you can use that ms and bat on ANY psp... the program changes the serial# of the battery to throw the system into recovery mode...

any battery according to noobs that can be plugged into the psp.
and yeah with desame program that alters the battery can also change the battery back to the function of a battery heh.:p

yes. to both.

Not really, tested with a 3rd party battery (non Sony), it doesn't support. Got an error when launch the battery creator, unable to get the battery programmed as Pandora Battery.

If it fails reboot your psp and try it again. 3rd party batteries can sometimes do funny things like showing weird numbers for batt charge in some homebrew that reports batt charge.

It may just be that it work on some rather than others but i would give it a few goes (in fact i will when i find my spare 3rd party battery lol).
