ok, first off.

what chip?
how is it fitted ? (pin header / wired / solderless)
what bios?
is the bios pre-programmed?

sounds very much like a bad solderjob (not meat to sound derogatory).

go over all your solder points and recheck.

does it just turn on, and then off , once?
or on / off / on / off / on / off / FRAG?

but either way its either bad solder or bios (i.e. no bios on there possibly)

just read my sig about the chip.

power button: on then off

eject button: on/off/on/off/on/frag light flashes red/green

ok, i would of thought it could be bios related (or OS) does it boot into the recvery mode?

i`m not a big user of xeniums, but its defo gonna be either the seating of the solderless adaptor or bios / os issues.

try cleaning the contacts with a bit of meths on a cotton bud, but make sure you leave it a good 20 mins to dry off and dont swamp it ;)

hope this helps

ok, do the xbox s work without the chip installed?

if not, no audio and no video with chip installed / removed = eeprom corruption. It is fixable, but not that easy.

lmk ;)

yes, it works without the chip. but, i got it to work. some what. but, it goes to the tech support screen. the only thing i can think of is these 2.

1. chip is dead
2. chips os is messed up

and, i should say that i cant get to the chips os when i start it up.

You already got your xbox up & running with the chip installed? If it doesn't do anything at all with the chip installed (and works perfectly fine without the chip), I'd suggest checking if you've soldered a wire on the bottomside of the MB. Just an idea, dunno if this is your first install ever, though. :)

the chip is solderless. is says it in my sig. when i turn the chip on. it starts up like normal. then, it goes to a tech support screen.

O, OK then.
I once had a customer who had a Xenium installed. The software needed to be fixed for him.
His version was with a header an had1 or 2 wires soldered on the top side also...
Can't help you.
Did you already ask your supplier? They should know to fix the error...

from where i bought it from. they are in canada.

i got a new adapter for my xenium ice chip. when i turn it on. it tunrs on then it turns off. the tray doesnt even eject either. and, everything is set the way its suppose to be. how can i restore it so it'll work? cuz, it wont even goto the chip os screen. if anbody here use msn messanger.

*edit*
this can get locked. since nobody else posted in here. think im just gonna get rid of my xbox.
