Can some one explain why the PSP Spot and the P-TV signs is showing in my EU 3.51 M33?
This happens when i play a game more than 5 minutes and after that the M33 settings is corrupt. Its so annoying...

Go to Recovery and Fake Region to Eur or American.

Change region settings in Recovery menu.

What happens after 5 minutes?
Well, maybe your flash1 is corrupt itself, cause only you have such problems here...

go to recovery mode then into configuration and disable umd region if its enabled and see if that fixes because the only time p-tv and the icon appear up is when you fake your umd region to japan its the only idea i have left ive never had this problem..

Use the 'flash1 formatter' program posted here, run that eboot (read the readme first) - format your flash 1 and re-enter all your settings. Then your psp will be working fine.
The reason those icons are showing is because the psp thinks it's from a japan region - obvioulsy just a glitch in the settings (which are stored in flash 1).

No you probably just deleted those files instead of formatting the flash - believe me there is a difference, and as you're asking why the psp thinks it's jap I have already explained - your flash1 is corrupt so format it.

Are you fucking thick - you can't format the flash1 with a pc it won't work properly due to the file system, you NEED to use the app thats been posted, for fucks sake if you are not going to take our advice don't bother asking for it.

did you used an easy installer for the 3.51 m33 or created your own? try to create your own 3.51 m33 eboot.pbp using both US version of 1.5 and 3.51 eboots.

Think he used the japanese eboot of 3.51 ore something...
Leech eboot of 3.51 again from other download site and make sure its not the japanese one....
And better search for an new 1.5 also for secure
then go and flash the psp again with m33 and make sure to reset all settings via xmb before you do it and all will be ok....

You can also *force* EUR region in the recovery menu as a cheap workaround to your problem.

You know, you can edit your old post and add to it, too ...
Anyway, as far as I know the update EBOOTs are the same for everywhere in the world. There is no difference. For what it's worth, however, I used this 3.51 EBOOT and everything works fine for me:

I'm not convinced you properly reset your PSP, however. Either way, in the end - why not simply set the region to Europe in the recovery menu and switch X and O buttons back there, too ? It's just registry hacking anyway.
