Lameboy 0.9 help

This is my first time using Lameboy or any GB emu and I'm having a problem.

I'm using a Supercard Lite.

I d'led 0.9 and ran it through DLDIrc with the Supercard lite driver and got a lameboy_sclt.nds file. When I ran this on my DS it brings me to a directory with a black ground and white text that says that my /LAMEBOY/ folder is empty.
However, I have two Gameboy ROMS (.7z) in that folder so obviously the lameboy is not picking it up.

Is the ROM type wrong, does it need to be patched through something?
Or did something wrong happen with the Lameboy program?

As was said on DCEmu, Lameboy does not know how to extract the games from 7zip files. You'll need to extract them on your computer first. Note that games less than 2 MB in size can be compressed in .zip format, but anything over that must be left uncompressed.

if you're using a supercard lite you don't need a gameboy emulator, or do u?
