OE Firmware question

Hi, I am getting a PSP soon (my first one) and I was wondering if when I put OE firmwares on it, should I start with the first OE firmware and work my way up with all of them, or just go straight to 3.40 OE-A?

Also, has the issue with TA-082 motherboards been fixed in these?

You can go straight to 3.40 OE-A and yes, you can use it with a TA-082

Also if you happen to find a Lumines game get it. Because if your psp is fw version 3.10 or higher, you will need it to downgrade :)

Which file from Lumines will I need? Is it a file actually needed by the downgrader?

Also, I am supposed to downgrade to 1.5 and then go to 3.40 right?

no ... u need the UMD disk itself to start the downgrader.

I wouldn't try to prepare too much before you actually buy the psp.

You could luck out and get one that can be straight up downgraded..

Much easier once you know what version you're working with. :)
