Illuminati Exploit For Japan PSP's is now here!

Yes, I was complaining about this, but I solved it before Noobz. I will come out with the downgrader for Japan Lumines as well. And this works, I tryed it on my friends copy, now excited about downgrading for my 67th time

1. Download this

2. Extract the contents of the 'ULJS00005' folder from the ZIP file into the 'SAVEDATA' folder in your memory stick. (HINT: MS_ROOT>PSP>SAVEDATA)

3.Start the game, and as soon as it gets to the 'Press START' screen, or whatever it is in Japanese. If you wait until the demo has started, the exploit may not work.

4.The screen should go blank, and the exploit will start after a few moments. It doesn't do anything except look pretty at this stage - but feel free to enjoy the first homebrew on your v3.10 - v3.50 PSP Wink

I dunno. both of them aren't working on my 3.40OE + JP Lumines.

Weird:confused: . Mine is ULJS00005 and it did with no problems. My PSP is american, language on english, with 3.40-OE, nothing more.
I just placed both (US and JP) saves on my save folder and folowed what the author said.

[Edit]: True, if you don´t place both folders on Save folder, the exploit won´t work.

Worked fine for me. 2.82US firmware, Japanese Lumines. Loaded both save files on memstick, then ran the umd. When press start screen came up I pressed start and walla! It worked. Now I wonder if the downgrader will work.

Worked great I just had to grab the missing eboot.pbp and other files from the original 3.50 downgrader UPGRADE directory since they were missing in the zip you gave me. :)

Now at 3.40OE A. Upgrade path went: 2.82 -> 3.50 -> 1.50 -> 3.40 OE A. All using the lumines jap umd.

^the whole update folder and of course the update.pbp (1.50 eboot.pbp) from the original downgrader. this folder was not included in 0okm file.

Awesome! A new release from 0okm! It may be out of defiance against SONY or other reasons but whatever the reason it is really enlightening to see coders we haven't heard from in some time come out with new stuff or updates.

If anything good can come out of Dark_AleX leaving, it should be that the homebrew scene gets a renewed sense of community and that we need to stick together and move forward and never back down.

This new method of running the Lumines exploit could be great to some people.
