New Wii's???

I read from some site saying that the new Wii's are unmodable or very hard to mod, Is this true or all the Wii's are the same.

They are not unmoddable... just a bit harder work.

They decided to cut the legs of some of the newest D2B wii drive chips. You can solder directly to the stumps or sand down the top of the IC to expose them a bit more.

my mate just got one yesterday i went with him and it was from a brand new shipment they got in at EB so i wasnt feeling too good about modding it. any ways took it home opened it up and it wasnt one with chopped legs so it was over and done in 20 minutes

Just after the cut legs news, MaxConsole reported that newer Wiis were unmodable and they even had their legs. What happened to that scare? Was that the elusive D2C? I remember there being a picture.
