So you were screwing around and unscrewed the spring loaded eject on the top of your lid, and since you're not mechanically inclined, you can't get it back together again :)

Here's a tutorial I put together when I was trying to help a person solve this exact problem in another forum:

First, here are all the parts:

The spring assembly, the gear, and the lid hinge holder (labeled A, B and C for your pleasure)

And here's the case lid:

Now, place Part A into the case like this:

Basically, you're going to then put the top cover into the case upside down and fit part A into the cover. The long piece of the spring will match the groove and the round hinge will fit into the hole on the case. When inside, and together, piece A and the cover will look like this:

Then take part C and fit the nub into the hole of the case, then screw it down with a screw:

Take part B and make sure the raised part with the hole is facing to the right and insert it on top of the gears of part A:

Make sure part A and B are aligned:

Push part A down and match up the screw hole with the 2 pegs. Once secured, put in the screw:

Once you've completed those steps, your lid should be working again!

Anytime :) I'm trying to take pictures every time i do something and just make a tutorial for the hell of it. I was going to do one with my Qoob Pro install, but I didn't have the time.. oh well, maybe next one.
