New Fallout 3 details revealed - from the developers of Oblivion

Fresh details have been revealed on Fallout 3 from the latest issue of Game Informer magazine. The highly anticipated sequel runs on an improved version of the Oblivion engine, with the third person view being altered. FO3 beings with your birth and your mother's death in a vault hospital, this is where you get to create your character as your father hands you over to the DNA analyzer. The Battle system enables you to tackle enemies in real time using first person shooting. This element works with action points which when used up will leave you with just real time fighting until they are charged back again. Bethesda also indicate you can play the game by being stealth-like or talking your way out of things. Enemies can target you using the same system so you can get injured in very specific areas of the body, with the Karma system making a return as well as 9-12 possible endings for your actions. Only thing that I can see that may be wrong with it is that it may feel a little too much like Oblivion. That isnt terrible because Oblivion was bloody brilliant but if the core mechanic is FPS Oblivion with the same camera it may feel familiar.

Wahay I loved the first 2 fallouts, but weren't they made by bioware or black isle (or both or whatever the ogroup of companies Bioware split from). I love the elderscroll guys (tho I doubt I'll be playing another game like that soon due to starting back on WoW which kind of makes single player RPG's a bit boring) but how come they are doing it?

Anyway, anither game to look forward to, tho I will probably go PC on this as with all FP games the Keyboard mouse combo rules (not to metion free mods and upgrades).
