Software switch - help required.

Hi there, I am going to be using the software switch method of lighting up several SMD LED's. This is my question..

Also, what resistors would I need to bring this down to a voltage to run these 0603 SMD LED's? I am going to be running 2 parallel sets of 3 in series.
