View Full Version : Run gpsp from HD using IRshell?

Like the title implies, I'd like to use IRshell and either USB or wireless to run gpsp from my HD. It seems like this should work, but it doesn't (for me anyway). I have tried with 3.10 oe-a and 3.40 oe but it just gives a "80020001" error. I can launch gpsp from my memory stick by browsing to the executable and picking it.

When I have nethostFS running, I use redirection, along with a full copy of my MS directory structure so that the path looks like ms0:/PSP/GAMES150/gpsp/ but I just get the error mentioned above. When I use USB I get the same thing. To the PSP, everything should look the same, and it's a homebrew application, so I would think that it would work.

I am using irshell 3.0 with PSPhost 2.0.

Does anyone have this working, and can you share with me your configuration? Thanks.

It should work, I think. Have you tried running it without redirection ? If you send me a private message with your pack I can try getting it to work for you.

It works for me but if I play a game for a while my wifi light goes off and it locks up when I try loading another rom.

1. Which firmware do you run (3.10 oe-a or what?)
2. Which version of IRshell (3.0, 3.1, etc.)
3. IRshell 1.5 or 2.71 version?
4. Do you use redirection?
4a. If so, what path (ms0:/PSP/GAMES150/gpsp/ or similar?)
5. Do you use Devhook in any way to boot gpsp?
6. Do you launch gpsp from the file browser?
7. is gpsp in the "game" or "game150" folder?

you can only do it from irshell
