To late to downgrade?

I just got my psp and it's already up to 3.03 from a sony update...
I'm new to this and heard if you update to far it's to late to downgrade..
How would I downgrade if I could ?

if you got gta lbs unpatched you can download from 3.03
check the downgrade sticky its there

Your copy must have the 2.0 official update on it, copies with later upgrades have been patched against the downgrader.
