I own MHF and i love the game to death. Only problem is the umd case cracked when my friend borrowed it (i think he stepped on it on accident) So i've gotten an ISO of MHF (actually 3 different ones) and each one will go on the psp fine (i have 3.03 OE-B) and animation will show when i click on it. But then black screen. Is MHF just one of the games that doesn't run or is something fixable? I'd really like to know so i can finish this great game.

Don't mean to undermine you, but; do you have a UMD in your drive when you're trying to run the ISO?

Yeah, what the above said, and make sure No UMD mode is turned off. When I had it turned on MHF wouldnt load, just went to a black screen, even with a UMD in.

yes i have a umd in and i have no idea if no umd is turned on. I was just surprised it didnt work cuz every other ISO i've tried has worked. Why would this one be any different...

... because it is a different iso. Go to recovery, turn no umd to off.

k i just switched no umd to the "disabled" state. The only thing that changed now is that when i get to the black screen, pushing the home button does not activate that little "return screen". It's like frozen instead. This happens with both ISO's of MHF that i still have on my PC

Update to CFW 3.52 m33, then use sony's NP9660 iso loader.

Should work fine (at least it does for me)

I agree with Creiz, it works fine for me on 2.52 M33-4 (the us version on mhp2). If you have a jap and have used the translation kit for it then you probably messed up somewhere and killed the iso.
