Kid Shot For Xbox 360

Last week there were reports of a fatal stabbing in San Fransisco, over a Playstation. Today, news is circulating (through the Sun news paper)England, that a young kid was shot through his mouth over his Xbox 360 console. The shooting took place in South London, possibly the current gun capital of the U.K. The victim survived the shooting.

Apparently, three armed bandits "burst" into the unnamed victim's house and demanded that he hand over the Xbox 360 (which The Current Bun values at £280, so at least it wasn't a Core). Apparently a fight broke out and a 17-year old raider was stabbed. A gun was placed in the mouth of the victim who was then, in Sun-speak, shot a point blank range.

The organ then reports the local plod as stating: "It’s fortunate the young man who was shot didn’t die.” Shot at point blank range? In the mouth? It's a bloody miracle that the young man didn't die. Or maybe, just maybe the point-blankness of the description is slightly over-stated.
What's the world coming to kids?

maybe the 17 year old 'kid' did a Tyler durden and got shot through the side of his mouth?

People say blame the parents but then again its debatable.

South London has been in the News a lot where I live, thankfully I live in Watford which is 17 miles from London but its terrible whats happening to teenagers in London.

There was one teenager who got killed who wasnt into the Gun Culture at all and got killed, its a nasty world outthere.

I never acted violently when I was a kid and pretty much no one else did either but now its really getting outta hand. Its scary even walking at home at night hoping someone doesnt come out with a knife or a weapon threatening to kill you. Kids these days even if they are smaller than me scare me because of recent events like theft, gangs etc. Death even scares me and I just turned 20 Friday.

But ohwell, my condolences to the family of the child who was unfortunete to have the child's life cut short

This sounds about right. I've been to South London a few times and have been around areas where there have been shootings, but at least I was lucky enough not to get shot myself ;)

oh know!!!! but what about the strict gun laws????? haha U.S.A. is number one. had to say it since we get bagged on for our laws compared to U.K. and europe. but somehow people get shot there still.

I live in south london..... I`m amazed that someone was actually able to afford to buy a 360!!! perhaps he stole it, and karma caught up with him.

I shouldn`t joke you can hear the screams of people at night as knife wielding hooded youngsters run amok causing death and destruction in their wake.......

Yeah right!..... never had any trouble myself from anyone, its like any big town and who you associate yourself with...

.....Still cannot afford a 360 though..... maybe I should steal one :D
