GC Games off the SD Card ??

Just loaded up the wiikey 1.2 setup disc and noticed there is an sd program, is it possible to play gc or dare i say wii games off the sd card?? Might this be a possibility in the future. Would be awesome if you could. Looking at the wii games so far i cant believe there are many that would be actually bigger than a couple of gig if you could get rid of all the bogus filler data!!

Sure it's possible... if you feel like decrypting the bios, then writing your own hacked version, then writing your own homebrew launcher for games off the sd.... go ahead and get started on that. Let us all know when you are finished. :)

GC executables are in the .dol extension

I assumed you could simply dump a GC game to a folder (all the files not the iso)
and load the respective dol to launch the game from within the folder.

Same with emulators or gc homebrew in the dol format.

Was my assumption misled?
