About to buy a new moded Wii, what do i have to check?

Hello, everyone,
i am about to purchase a 2nd hand moded wii. the seller said, the wii is brand new he just bought it and installed the chip.(who knows right)
anyways.. so i would say it's a used unit with home installed chip.

so what should i check for when i test the unit?
how do i know if the chip is installed properly?
the seller seems to know what he is doing~ he told me the Wii is installed with WiiFree chip externally for easy access and it's installed with the newest 2.44a (stable) firmware.

Backup one of your games (or buy some games and back them up) and try to play them, if they work you're good to go.

oh that i know.. but i read it from some post saying that during the middle of the game wii crashes or somewhat... is there a way for sure i can test it out??

and where do i go download the games??

i don't think you read the posts on this forum, a lot of ppl recommand to get WiiFree over wiikey or cyclowiz..
WiiFree is free source and i can update the firmware anytime.. or just stick with the stable version FW.

$30 is nothing for something i don't have to build and works fine.... this forum is for discussion of ALL chips

Congrats, you just turned this post into piracy and got it closed. We do not support piracy, you can only play backed up games of games you legally own and backup yourself, downloading games is illegal and talking about it is against the rules of this forum.
