I bought 2nd Hand Gamecube with Mod-Chip comes with switch(US<-->JP). The switch was attach in the back of Gamecube near the Digital AV output. Any idea what type of chip is that?

That switch isn't for the mod it is to simply toggle between a Jap NTSC or USA NTSC gamecube
What you probably have is a Jap Gamecube that had the US/Jap conversion, would of said mod but that would imply that it had a modchip fitted
The Gamecube might still have a modchip fitted if you can run backup's, if it doesn't say Qoob, Viper/Cobra as it boots then it might have a xenogc in there
Or it might not have a modchip in there at all coz that switch is almost deffo to toggle US/Jap modification on the Jap GC
(also may wanna keep 2 mem cards for US & Jap games coz some jap games can wipe out your pervious usa saves)
