i put in the trainer for jade empire to the trainer folder, then i rebooted my xbox from the evox menu as usall then suddenly my xbox just keeps rebooting forever..
no warnings, no light blinking in diffrent colors, its just reboots in infinity.
it see the xbox logo and then it says executer 2 beneath it and then reboot
argh its driving me nuts, any ideas what i can do to fix it?
i dont have a switch to disable my chip so :(
i am suspecting somehow some evox ini file has gotten corrupted

easy fix. boot from a CD on bootup with a EVOX boot CD then FTP into your XBOX and delete the trainer.

gun: you need to rename the JE trainer, to jade.zip, open it up and extract the etm file, it'll work then.
If you don't do that, then you're stuck in loop-reboot hell.
Unless you use a DVD boot disc like Slayers.

i tried to connect to my xbox
with the evox boot iso i
downloaded and burned to a cd
that has another ip address and network info.
So i changed my pc tcp info
and it still doesn't want to connect.
Am i doing something wrong
or is it impossible to connect to
your xbox while using the boot cd?
Boot cd Info
ip 192.168.0.3
Sub 255.255.255.0
Gate 192.168.0.1
So on my pc Tcp
i entered
ip 192.168.0.4
sub 255.255.255.0
gate 192.168.0.1
When i didn't had this problem
i used this
Xbox
ip 192.168.1.5
sub 255.255.255.0
Gate 223.225.225.0
Pc
ip 192.168.1.6
sub 225.225.225.0
Gate 223.225.225.0
and changing the xbox boot
cd's info doesn't help because
it changes when you'll boot the cd again.
Thanks in advantage

ok jakare it is possible just make sure the IP is fixed so it doesnt change everytime.
but if this is to hard for you lets try somthing different.
boot up your XBOX with the newest version of DVD2XBOX and then PRESS B and then make your way to the C drive by press the R trigger and then go into the trainers folder and delete the bad file or rename it acordingly

Hello,
i also have the rebooting problem, after FTP'ing some Trainers.
I cannot remove them by FTP, because the xbox constantly reboots
and gets disconnected. It's impossible to remove them.
I also tried several 'Bootdiscs' but they never start up.
The xbox can however play original games.
Should i buy a new HDD? or is there still hope?
