Yesterday when i started up my xbox...everything was fine. I loaded a game from my hd and it was very very glitchy. The music and the video is shocking. It is like i am playing Half life 2 on a pentuim 1
piece of crap. (like the graphics card can't handle it) It dows the same thing.

Can someone tell me what to do. Every game i have is like that.
I need help.

Thanks

If i was you i would do my best to trouble shot everything you can. Make sure there are no bad solders on your mod chip. If it is solderless make sure it is pushed in all the way. Some times the pogo pins cause problems. Also make sure dust is not clogging the fans or cooling vents. If it is then the xbox maybe starting to over heat and this could degrade performance and then the xbox will just shutdown. Now you said every game you have is like that. Does that mean every game you own on hdd or everygame including dvds. It my be the power supply. When power supplies start to go or are not delivering enough power, graphics and such will be messed up. It will cause all sort of issues. Other than that you can send it out to be repaired. It may be best to just buy a used one at EB or game stop. Make sure back up your hdd, then you can sell the broke xbox on ebay. You probably get 50 dollars for it plus shipping. Used xbox cost around 150. Then you get money back from the ebay sale so you end up spending 100$. The cost to send your xbox out for repairs will probably be in that neiborhood. So it may just be better to buy a used one. Some places allow you to trade it in and they give you fifty dollars store credit. Use that toward the new xbox. Good luck to you. Hope all goes well. Let us all know how things turn out for you.

have you been changing your region settings latley or playing alot of imports because i have had this problem before. it just started one day. all i did to fix it was first change my region to NTSC then back to PAL to make sure that was fine. i made sure evox setting was default for region and TSR was normal and IGR was off. then i cleared my cache folder out just incase and that seemed to fix it. i hope this helps.

well in the newest version of Evox its in system settings just look for region. or if your using enigma video switch disc (which i recommend for changing region because with evox i often have problems when its on auto) just press A or B for the region you want.
also try booting a original game from the CD drive of your XBOX on the startup before you get to any dashboard to see if there are any conflict settings (make sure its a original and not a backup).
