hmmm well i agree that nextgen wars is crap. And I agree that vgchartz is the best. But i dont agree with your signature. How the 360 is failing with nearly 10million units in the hands of people and 12 million in stores overall. And with the biggest selling game between 360 and ps3. Gears of war (4 million). Resistance is the only ps3 game worth buying and thats only sold 1 million.

believe it or not Sony didn't crush the Dreamcast... Sega's lack of 3rd party and money problems crushed the Dreamcast .

Yep, though the lack of 3'rd party was due to Sony raking them all in, but that's another story for another time. But on that topic of stealing 3'rd party devs away, does that sound familure Stone Cold? It's exactly what the 360 is doing to the Sony. This guy is pretty anti-MS so he'll never admit that the 360 has already sold over 10 million, despite what VGsales says.

Exactly, 10 million sold and 12 million on shelves, but I guess that's just a lie and some random website (Which all websites are biased and unreliable) states otherwise and he trusts it to it's core, because it shows that the "360 sales are down". You might want to note Stone Cold that during Christmas, the 360 sold nearly a million consoles so how is that being down? Everyone with a brain for games knows that consoles don't sell during the rest of the year, games do, which is what OblivionX has pointed out with Gears of War.

And something you're forgetting, the PS3 has only sold on launch days, that is where they've gotten their 3 million from, even in Japan people aren't buying it. So...now that Sony has no more launch days up their sleeves, what's going to sell consoles? Games. Only problem is they continue to lost 3'rd party exclusives while the 360 gains them. Now i want to start with the part that im very anti-MS and that i would never agree that the 360 has sold over 10 million, well i may not be the biggest fan of the xbox series i will eventually get a 360 just like any other console, just not right now as im pretty happy without it tbh, also it would be pretty hard for me to say that oh no the 360 has not sold over 10 million if the stats are actually saying that they are but the bottom line seems to be that you want the 360 to have sold over 10 million but the facts are that the have not YET! Wont take them long to do it now though as they are so close.

Its as if they look at the nexgenwars charts and say oh yes the 360 is kicking ass and the wii and ps3 are so far behind, but then when they see the real sales charts on VGcharts they start going nuts and saying its all lies and nexgenwars are the right figures.

The fact is that the 360 and sold basically 10 million consoles, the wii has sold basically 6.5 million consoles and the PS3 has basically sold 3.10 million consoles.

hmmmm well the 360 has slowed down in sales due to the fact that not many system selling games have came out recently. Ps3 has slowed way quicker than the 360 did. They just had loads available at launch. And the wii hasnt slowed at all, still going strong. Im pretty sure when halo 3 comes out that game alone will shift consoles. Lots of people I know aint buyin a 360 til it comes out. Another reason why 360 cant die, is its massive amount of software support. It probably has more exclusives than the ps3 and not too mention the large amount of arcade games being shifted. The dreamcast failed because it didnt have games. The 360 has games and a massive online community. Those things alone mean it wont fail.

I think all 3 consoles will be around for years to come. We just need some killer games out in the wild to move some units off shelves.

I actually thought about going out for a drink for the evening yesterday I was so bored. :eek: Come on Sony and MS, where are the games?! Last game I bought for xbox360 was Crackdown and I finished that over a month ago! And Sony's launch efforts were pretty poor. Another track for GT HD would be nice! Or maybe an optional 2007 season update (if that's even possible) for F1CE so those of us who follow Formula 1 can pretend to be Lewis Hamilton if we want.

I agree with everything but the 360 sales. Why? Not cause I'm a 360 fanboy or even care how much it's sold, but I am unbiased and I've realized that numerous sites other then VGsales (Which could be ran by a biased gamer just like Nextgenwars.com is) states that the 360 sold 10.4 consoles by the end of January. And as I aforementioned, that is sold, not shipped. MS and Nintendo do the sold, Sony does that Shipped.
