We all knew Team Xecuter had been cooking up the Blaster 360 for some time now, but were more than shocked to see the Xeno team hit a very similiar looking device BEFORE the almighty Xecuter. Not only that, but Xeno's Top Gear was nearly half the price of the Blaster 360 at <A href="http://www.divineo.cn/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=360-xtg" target="_blank">$44.95</a>. However, Team Xecuter has now announced that shipping of the Blaster 360 has commenced and has highlighted a number of key differences between them and their new found competitor. You can buy the Blaster 360 now from <A href="http://www.divineo.com/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=dd-36-blaster" target="_blank">Divineo.com</a> / <a href="http://www.divineo.cn/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=360-blaster" target="_blank">Divineo.cn</a> / <A href="http://www.divineo.it/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=360-blaster" target="_blank">Italy</a> / <A href="http://www.divineo.de/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=xb360-blast" target="_blank">Germany</a> and <A href="http://www.divineo.fr/php/affstart.php?affcode=66623&prod=360-txb360" target="_Blank">France</a>.

Shipping of the Blaster360 has begun. Retailers should expect to recieve stock in the next few days. We have also included a 360 Case Unlock Tool that would normally retail for $10 at no extra cost.

We should recap on a couple of points raised on the forums when asked what the difference was between the Blaster360 and other cheap rip offs. The Blaster360 includes the following major differences....

- Electronic Digital Sata Exchange - 100% reliability on Flashing Firmware & Dumping Game data to the PC - ESSENTIAL FOR RELIABILITY!
- Seperate Power Input - Auto internal switching unit that completely isolates the power to the ODD away from the Xbox. Also no need to carry around the Xbox360 Huge Power Supply.
- Built In Connectivity Kit (Modeb / Eject / Samsung MS28 Power on/off)
- We include the Xbox360 Case Unlocking tool that retails for $10
- We also include a quality Torx10 screwdriver at no extra cost
- Easier & faster installation - no ripping apart the metal frame
LED function for Xbox mode & PC mode (also includes Glow feature and can be disabled)
- Much higher quality build - no cheap China rips offs.
- Months of real testing by ourselves and many scene members - all with 100% results.
- Original Xecuter Design - Support the makers not the fakers.
- Huge community support

The Blaster360 manuals and guides will be hosted in the next few days at www.team-xecuter/blaster360

We are also including 360 Unlock Tool plus Torx10 screwdriver with the Blaster360 at no extra cost.

Xeno quite clearly stole xecuter idea and design no doubt about that but isn't there a law against that?

Anyway xecuter dont really have anything to worry about i wouldnt of thought i will stick with executer throughout and im sure every one else will...that knows a little about the scene.

the xeno device also includes a opening tool doesn't it?;)

yeah...thats right...but the big difference is that the blaster can dump whole games to the pc and the xeno thing only can dump data from the hard drive to the pc...
but overall...80 $ are a little bit overpriced i think but we will see...when it will sell not so good(what i not think) then they will cut the price!!
but for me its a nice option to flash and i will buy for sure a blaster 360!!the quality only from the pictures says all!!

haha, i see the xecuter guy's really got offended by the release of the xeno version :D ..but hey lets face it, even though the quality differences are obvious, i wouldnt pay that much for any of them. but if i would, i would buy the xecuter model since i know for a fact that they (atleast as far as i know) only made high quality stuff. and that say's pretty much in todays knock-off mayhem.

Sadly neither Product is of much use to Hitachi Users ~yet~.
AFAIK: *There is no current way to rip your "Backups" though a Hitachi Drive.

*Ok in the intrest to prevent flames before they happen.
There is One way to rip Backups via a Hitachi Drive.
It's called the WX Method, which basically requires One to open up there Hitachi, and have an appropriately sized DVD-9 Movie to read out the Layerbreak or ToC.

I'll admit I don't know much about it, and that this Process is way, way to involved for me.

When I could get a Samsung / Toshiba PATA SH-D162C / TS-H352C for less then €20.00, and just reflash that Firmware w/the XB360 KREON v0.81 Firmware
and I only have to open the XBOX360™ up once or twice a Year before doing any forced Dashbord Update(s).

And I would have at the minimum +€20.00(EUR), in my Pocket!! ;)

From what I understand, both the Blaster360 and the Xeno Top Gear will allow users to play backup games by flashing the firmware. What I'm reading now is that the Blaster360 can rip games in the 360 right onto your PC which would allow you to burn backups of it. Is this true, and does the Xeno Top Gear have the same feature (It seems to have more switches and buttons than the Blaster360)? And can you guys please tell us how your Blaster360 has been working, since you never did in the last Blaster360 posting? Thanks in advance.

All I can tell you is what I know from my own experiences.
Which are, that you can not directly use a Hitachi (GDR-3120L) ROM Ver. ~doesn't matter!!~ to Rip your Games directly. PERIOD!!

This is still a Hardware limitation of the Drive itself, perhaps Garyopa (The Guy who has done some of these Hitachi Hacks), might release a newer Firmware to get 'round this.

But do not confuse the GDL-3120L with anything from Samsung or Toshiba.
Only those Drive can make Full Rips, read DVD±R SL (DVD5), and have Drive Speed ~to lower the Nose Level of the XBOX360™~

The Hitachi can NOT DO ANY OF THIS YET! ~OTOH: It'll still play Backups burnt to DVD9~

So for the moment, neither Product would be of much use to any Hitachi Owner in the know.
Unless you have some weird Firmware Flashing Fetish, that would require you to change the Firmware every Five Minutes (or so).
Normaly you'd just flash the Firmware to get Backups working and be done w/it, only consideration beeing to reflash your Original Firmware before doing any Dashboard Update, and how often does that happen?!

The only single way I know of that ~might~ work in makeing Backups off a Hitachi GDR-3120L, is the "WX Method", which would force you to open your Hitachi up as well.
As I said before, this sounds like to much work and or risk to the Drive, to be a long-term solution.

I was able to find a Samsung SH-D162C for €20.00(EUR), and it was simply the best €20.00(EUR), I ever spent on an Accessory.

So yeah I'll still have to open the XBOX360™up at some point and re-flash my Original Firmware back to it, to update the XBOX360™, but like I said, how offten does that happen?!?
