Can anyone make this one pic into a 1-12.bmp

im having trouble making this one pic into a 1-12 bmp
i mean the method where you just save it as bmp and rename it 1-12
but when i do it and flash it the background just comes out all black

it is only one picture i want

I think I found a way to not lose too much picture quality and still allow you to have a custom wallpaper with waves. I have only tried this a few times so far but it has worked every time.

First you need to have all this:

some sort of flashing program
&
a 480x272 (or larger) wallpaper

Get you wallpaper and then open it with any image editing software.

Go to FILE>SAVE AS... then save it as a .PNG file but with the name X.bmp (X being anything, I used vista1.bmp)

The size should now be smaller but it will still be a bmp file. (the size of mine shrunk by at least 130kb, and ended up being only 203kb afterward)

Now flash it as your wallpaper, and then restart your psp (stop if your background shows up here)

If it still doesnt show up, go to themes and then use the first one a few times.

sorry if its a lil sloppy or even if it doesnt work for you, it works fine for me and i didnt lose any resolution at all.

saqib, heres a file for you of that first background you wanted but before you flash it go into theme settings and change the theme to the first one (after original) its also quite big (around 350kb) so make sure you have enough space
