hi,
is this true, I heard that to play Us or Jap games on my Pal Wii I had to patch
my Iso. refer to :

http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php/Wii_Region_Free_Patcher_Compatibility_List

but then what's the use of the override fonction on the setup disk.

i tried Cooking mama jap and Trauma center us .. not goods choices I think. Then I tried SSX no luck again !

when i execute the setup disk on my Wii the second third time, it always show my region as Pal ( but i saved config with override ON ) is this normal ? or doesn't it save my DATA is the eeprom ? the others options are also in default mode, like the first time i start the setup disk

Thx in advance for your answers.

wasted disks im afraid, all these are confirmed not working. The actual phrase is 70% region free.
Also as already mentioned in the forums the setup disk always shows default config, but it DOES save the settings.
Read up a bit in the forums :)

the games you talk about are exactly what they mean with "Partially boot ntsc region discs on Pal systems"
some games work some dont. the ones you said just dont :p. and about patching the wiikey does exact the same as you would have patched it. also those settings are always set on default when loading the disc.
so setting it to region free is better then patching your game even tho it does the same. because when there is an update of the wiikey code your original iso will suddenly boot while the old patched one might give issues.

so if it set the region free to on, next time i start up the disc, should the region free still be on or off?
coz mine seems to stay off all the time, unless i click A on it, then it changes to on
but next time i boot the disc, its off
is this right?
