me get a 360

hi im thinking about getting a 360 but i want one easy to be hacked and well i want to know what 360 to get and dose it matter? thanks ow and i does the graphics still look good with out a hd tv?

and i would like to play online still

you buy a new one you take pot luck.until you open the box and power on and eject the tray you wont know what drive you got therefore you wont know till then what course of action is needed or hardware to do it.

you buy secondhand at least you can get them to eject the tray so if they got a samsung drive then thats the one to buy,although bar one hitachi model,79 the hitachi can be hacked as well.

when you eject the tray look at it then these pics and compare them to identify the drive.there is also the benq drive doing the rounds.iot looks like the phillips,that cant be hacked yet.

i use crappy little tv and still get excellent pic,although i intend toi buy hdtv later this year.

ok thanks alot if i have the samsung drive can i just soft mod it then?

no the soft mod was for the xbox using the hdd,you cant do anything to the hdd of the 360 to get it to boot games,you got to hack the drive itself.

it is advertised as a softmod on some sites because it sounds better than saying "come get your xbox360 hacked here"

there are 2 types of samsung drives,fw=ms25/fw=ms28.

you wont know which one you got till you open the 360 itself.

so i suggest you do that to find out,then read and search.

ow ok thanks soooo much for the help i think i will buy the 360 from cex or gamestation or i could just do the easy thing and buy a modded one on ebay but where's the fun in that :D

the first one always seems hard
1/before you do it.
2/while you do it oyur heart rate will go up an hell of a lot.

there is no real fun in hacking drives for the first time.the more you do the easy it seems.you get into a routine,put that extension there,pull side of pc,insert this that ready this in windows.bla bla bla.

you need sata in the first place and it has to be compatable with mtkflash.and now as i am typing this you put you got laptop.

buy,premodded new secondhand whatever,if you get a good deal on a secondhand or new that isnt hacked then get someone to do it.
