new ds under warranty?

You worded that strangely but I think you are asking how to get warranty for your new DSL. As far as I know all DSL come with a 1 year warranty. What you will probably have to do to get access to any services would be to call nintendo via telephone and register your unit.

not exactly what i meant lol. i meant are there ways to damage my ds lite in order to recieve a brand new ds lite

I think they only cover defects bro. So I personally couldn't give you any advice on that...maybe read over the warranty in the box paperwork and find out the exact terms? If you are disparate enough you could probably find a loophole, but I personally wouldn't suggest it.
