i was in physics today bored out of my skull and came up with a whole new layout/functionality:

ISO
-USBHOST - Mount a ISO over your USB cable
-MS STK - Choose an ISO on you MS to Boot
-Boot ISO - Boot an ISO over host0:/ or ms0:/ specified in the INI

UMD
-Mount UMD - mounts UMD to PC (not working YET)
-Boot UMD

USB
-Enabled - USB always on
-disabled

Flash
-Flash0 - choose to read only, or read and write
-Flash1 - choose to read only, or read and write
-Flash File - flash a file from FLASH IT folder on ms to flash0 specified in INI
-Backup Flash0
-Backup Flash1

BOOT (choose what to boot at XMB Start. specify in INI)
-UMD
-ISO
-USB Conxion - usb on at start up
-Mount flash0 - flash0 mounted at startup
-USB Host - boot ISO from host0:/

this is actaully a collection of 3 prxs (ill try to make thsi into one soon) this is still very very buggy and alot of functions arent ready yet. i call this
2Xmb. the battery indicator still has no functioality. it doesnt change as battery level change. it will only show the battery level that was at startuo

the attachment contains preview pics, no release yet. i couldnt upload the pics (dont know why) so if someone wants to host them so they can be veiwed in the thread feel free to

Yea, it's guys like you, EMO, (not you, maxi) that piss off dev's to the point of giving up the great homebrew they create FOR FREE.
If you think it is fake, cool. you are entitled to your opinion.
Until you know for sure, though, don't accuse someone just because you can make the same screens with photoshop.
This is a great Idea, even if it was a fake, now it is a possible reality for other dev's with spare time and skill.
Way to go, can't wait for the release!!!

I for 1 think he's telling the truth. Most fakers come on with alot of heavy bullshit and massive claims. With all the modifications going on, it was bound to happen that someone would figure out a different way to access the files of the psp without the xmb. One question though; Will this work with fully customized xmb's? I sure hope so. I think I've figured out to colour the font on the psp...........;) :D :D :D

the problem is that if you flash a file in the xmb you only see changes after rebbot. so i am thinking of taking it out becuase if you have to reboot to see changes you might aswell use recovery menu

If you remove the flashing part, would it be possible to put a music menu in its place? That would work a lot better than the mp3 plugin.

and like said the Waves but not only this if you look at the padding between Flash and Boot and imagine this between ISO and UMD it really looks like made in Photoshop the fact that it says Photoshop in Properties doesnt proof much i would convert the bmp too using CS

I think we can all agree on this much - if its real, the only way to truely prove it is to release a POC/ALPHA version that people can download to test.

Another way is to get someone highly respected on these forums to test it. I.E. Zeus, Dark_AleX (highly unlikely), or someone else that everyone knows and trusts, so that they too can confirm it.

Anyway, its a nice idea, but I don't see how the functionallity would work, that plus all the other facts stated here tell me its only a fake, and nothing annoys me more than a person who has to fake work to get attention. Sorry if this is real, but we really need solid proof.

About the image being fake, well I saw it as a simple mockup, it doesn't seem the actual app working, isn' it just a lockup he made to get feedback and ideas about the development?

Look, if you want people not to flame you and call fake, then just release something. If you're serious about your work, you wouldnt even bother posting about what your project "will" contain, creating all this hype. If you're truly confident in your abilities to do this, you'll just do it (without this preview stuff).

Finish your work, then release it, dont create hype by telling people what project will end up being. It'll only lead to flames and "fake" callings.

Btw, I also posted up a method of changing recovery colour too, but it wasnt based off 0okms work, I explained how to find the offset in recovery.prx. You could've at least also explained how you found the offset by looking at 0okms app. (Btw, the same offset is used in 3.10OE as well, for all those people you say it doesnt work on 3.10OE).

Why? because i had origianly made a thread called [Develpment] Feedback/ideas needed. then when i came up with a better idea i created this thread. i was looking for ideas/options that people would like to see in a 2nd XMB prx like this. the photo was a preview of HOW I THOUGHT IT SHOULD LOOK. if i got enough good suggestion and positive feedback i would incorporate them into a prx.

IM SORRY IF THAT WAS NOT MADE CLEAR TO EVERYONE. After rereading my original post i realized that it sounded as if i had already made the prx and that the photos were actually screenshots.

yes i did. i have already made some FUNCTIONALITY but not a menu like i have in the picture. that is what i hope to finish as. i have a plugin to indicate battery, a plugin to launch usbhost from a simple menu, and a plugin with some usb/flash options. i am just creating the basics for each option at the moment. they are not functioning as 1 with a single menu as of now but i hope they will be soon

Too lazy to read the entire thread, and don't wanna bash anyone, but, for large releases (or anything "big" - like TA-082 downgraders (before the real one came out)), it's usual for fakers to make a thread about it "before they finish it" to stir up as much attention as possible.

I'm not saying anything's fake here, but this is the typical behaviour, which is why there's probably a lot of doubt at the moment, mainly because absolutely no proof has been given at this point.
A smarter approach is to release the actual thing, or at least release part of the project so people don't doubt you.

yes i did. i have already made some FUNCTIONALITY but not a menu like i have in the picture. that is what i hope to finish as. i have a plugin to indicate battery, a plugin to launch usbhost from a simple menu, and a plugin with some usb/flash options. i am just creating the basics for each option at the moment. they are not functioning as 1 with a single menu as of now but i hope they will be soon

I have been watching this thread off and on since it was started... and the response has, IMHO, just been "comic book" ridiculous. I have to say, considering this type of respect for people's personal time and skill, in all honesty it is amazing that some of the really good stuff actually gets released. Inducing a sour taste in people's mouths is not the best way to encourage them to want to create something and then give it to you for free. Name calling, threatening, questioning someone's maturity... in my experience has never been a show of adult behavior; and in the end has probably resulted in at least a couple of the bricker programs aimed at those who were so interested they went squirrelly at the person while they were waiting, taking the fun/steam out of the idea of making something for the point of sharing it.

if you write to flash and for example overwrite a wave plugin wouldnt it crash the psp?
No becuz when you boot it loads the wave to ram and then loads it off the ram... if you overwrite it, it won't crash but the wave wont change until you reboot the psp... same with icons/etc.

You can use SCEP, it's really good and it's something released by a REAL dev
