Compiling will not help at all. Just look at source code, they forget something.

If anyone actually catches this, they will laugh... hopefully. Maybe. :D
A console that can be linked to do "more useful" things with a nexGen system?

err...why has my thread been deleted ?? I made a thead about the D2A WabModcheap before this thread and there were already some ppl replying.
You could have easily linked to it instead of creating a new one and deleting my and the other users posts....

Zeus just to that... he has the ago similar to the admin from ps3news... if you post news BEFORE him (with is what usually happens) he just deletes yours :D

hey,im using 5817 schottky limiting diodes and they work great, the same ones you use for the no loop mod on your uinlocker for doing rom102's

People, DONT USE this loader until they correct the code...
This loader has the same issues that cyclowiz V1... the dvd spisn SLOWER so you get stutter on wariowario videos and loonger loading times
and you cant play GC games... and about the out of sync, the soft just dont display them...
So stick with the syndicate loader for the time being

Holy ****, I thought it was my imagination, but when he edited my sig as soon as I poked fun of him in it, it just proves it all. Damn, what a crappy mod.

Doesn't work for me, I load the program, it does nothing when I put in a Wii backup, when I put in a GC backup it says "PatchinG..." but then the Wii just says there's no valid disc inside. Doesn't work with Syndicate's loader either. Kind of odd. Cable is good, checked it a few times.
This loader works much better than the SYNDiCATE one. Games load faster, and I have not had one Sync error yet (which I had tons of on the SYNDiCATE loader). No capacitor is needed.
I am going to post all of what I think you need to know right here:
1) Make the cable as shown here, accept DO NOT USE A DIODE ON PIN 1 (this diode will give an immediate Sync error). I also used the ground pad that is to the right of the letters M and D on the board as seen in the picture rather than the one shown here that is on the ribbon connector:
http://www.lordimac.de/files/wiring_dvdtool.jpg
Making the datacable
In order to make the datacable, you need only a few basic items. A DB-25 connector, two diodes, and some cable. Connect the diodes in reverse (so, PC ---|<--- Wii) to the DB-25 connector, to pins 1 and 14. Just connect some wires to pins 18 and 11, these will be the GND and output wires. The other two dioded wires are clock and input. Now, open your Wii, remove the DVD drive, and turn it over. Look for the following pattern near IC3001 (http://wiire.org/Wii/console/disc_drive):
- 1 -
2 3 4
- 5 6
3 is SBO1 (Output)
4 is SBT1 (CLK)
6 is SBI1 (Input)
With the numbers being pads, and - being nothing. Now, solder the wire from pin 1 to pad 4 (CLK line). Pin 14 goes to pad 6, and pin 11 goes to pad 3. Just find a suitable place to attach the wire from pin 18, which is GND. (Placing the board so you can read the writing on IC3001, look at connector P3001, the rightmost pad is GND and the third from the right is GND). Check your solder connections with a multimeter, then close up your Wii, and issue the ./dvdtool -r 0x8000 command in root mode. If you see hexadecimal numbers, congratulations! If you don't, check the proper functioning of your cable, wether or not you're in root mode, and if the parport0 and ppdev drivers are properly installed.
2) If you get the error "Could not open parallel port", do this (works on XP and Vista):
Download this attached file below and extract to a directory of your choice.
Then copy the giveio.sys file to \windows\system32\drivers\
start LOADDRV.EXE and typ in the pathname of the file you just copied.
In my, and probably o lot of others cases its:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\giveio.sys
Then click install and after a succesfull install press start.
Thats it :) now the program wonīt bug you anymore. (I hope)

3. Burn your ISO's with ImgBurn:
http://ImgBurn.com
4. Launch the WAB loader with the Wii on and before putting a game into the Wii. Works like a charm!
Download the DMS/D2A Wab loader here:

IT WORK!! :D
- I used two diodes on port 1 and 14.
- Install giveio.
But when I put the disc I have to stop WabModcheap-D2A.exe to play the game.

The problem with the discs is not only media related. Itīs more a media <> burner thing. Some DVD burners donīt like some medias where other burners donīt have any problems with.
Itīs always a good idea to update the burner if there is an update out.
Updates usually adds better media detection and write strategies so sometimes you will be able to burn medias fine which didnīt work before.
Just finished modding my Wii with this mod. Works perfectly on the various Wii backups that I have tried. But don't know why my GC backups don't work :( I used a Firewire header in my external mod. Now I just need to wait for my Atmel Mega 8L chip so I can try the Chiip mod.
