Nah... I don't think it'd be possible. There's not enough RAM in the DS to emulate a GBA... play one, yes, but emulating takes like 7x the power of the original device. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Well, unless Slot-1 devices can get that powerful and hold that much RAM extra.

Also, you need an ideal 10x processor increase.

You can't emulate GBA games on slot 1 you need a flash card in slot 2.

to emulate them? i think not. i'm assuming there just isn't any demand for a GBA emulator on the DS, since the system has a GBA built-in and numerous flash devices available for it. but emulation for it (on slot 1) is entirely possible.

He's using Slot 2 of his ds to do it. You can't emulate through slot 1. If you want to emulate gba games on your ds then you need a supercard. I'm not sure about other software.

Here's what he need to get straight. The vid is showing playing GBA games through Slot-2, not emulating them. It's just the term emulating that seperated Slot-1 from Slot-2.

hello, im pretty new to the DS front, just got my own ds lite a week ago and now i got an r4 comeing in the mail, this whole not being able to play gba on slot one is just a minor set back, but heres an idea, ive heard of a firmware upgrade thing called flash me that is suposed to trick the DS into looking at the gba slot for nds stuff, wouldnt be possible to make some sort of program that reverses this and makes the ds look at slot 1 for gba as well? just a thought. :-)

Eh, that's not a bad idea. But you'd have to flash it (not a problem, just annoying not having a warranty). Plus I don't know if it'd work...
