Sony Hand PS3's to NBA Star and Crowd

None other than Sony's Jack Tretton awarded Miami Heat's Dwayne Wayde a PS3 as he won the Playstation skills challenge as part of the NBA all star week-end. It is also reported that Sony gave a whole area of the crowd PS3's based on the winner and skill performance.

Apparently Dwade was not the only person to receive a free PS3 but a whole section of arena spectators. The way the giveaway worked was each competitor in the Playstation Skills Competition was assigned a section of the arena. If said competitor won the competition then every spectator sitting in that section got a free Playstation 3. The exact number of recipients is not known, however one thing is for sure it was a fairly large number.

At least some people got some free PSP's though. They seem to have better (and more) games than the PS3 anyways, what with tons of emulators, homebrew, etc available for it.

Why look sad?? He have a lot of $$$ so he can go to any store and get one for $600.00 + tax. Anyway it will be no problem for him since the consoles are standing in the stores.... Kobe you can find one very easy...!! hehehe :D
