Moving saves from Supercard Lite to R4?

I'm thinking of getting an R4 for myself and giving my supercard lite / pass card combo to my brother. Before I do this I wanted to ask a simple question... Can I take my gamesaves with me and what do I need to do to make them work?

Don't know about too many threads, but thulinma's save tool can turn your Supercard saves to generic .sav files.

Which can then be converted with the converter that comes with your R4.

Also there are manual ways to change Supercard saves to .sav with a hex editor.
