Yeah. Ive been messing with it. Got a dol made, but dont know if it works cause the drive doesent stop spinning. It slows down like its about to, but starts up again. No time for me to swap out pso. I figured out how to get by that problem, but still cant test cause i use dvd+r media, and that doesent work with the direct boot code.

Oh, I thought this was gonna be like an updated anaconda... what exactly is this? It just looks like a bunch of useless data too me, I mean what're you supposed to do with that?

Its a hex dump of the drive code. Its just the code that only a few people in the scene will under stand enough to use. Im trying to use it, but dont know enough about it realy. I may get someone with a drive 8 gc and working dvd-r's to help test it later. But i doubt ill get it to work. From what i can understand of what tmbinc said, it uses a different address then the old cobra0.4 drive code, and he didnt supply that address.
Going to home depot now for a little bit. Ill mess with it more when im back.

Well, i messed with it some more but still cant get it to work. I have a dol built, so if someone with a drive 08 cube and some working dvd-r burns wants to test it for me, just /msg DarkAkuma on efnet. Just that with pso booting, i have to force my drive to stop, and time it perfectly. Risks damageing your drive, so have to accept that. May be different for different dol booting methods, i dont know. Probly just better to wait for utopia to slap a new anaconda together, hehe.
Ill go back to modding my computer case for now.

oh, I didn't realize there was a section in the anaconda code that was just a huge block of data labled drivecode, there's drivecode and then there's drivecode08, which is probably the drive code for drive 8's, I'll try subbing out this new data and see how that works

Thats what ive done allready. Had 2 or 3 people test it too. Doesnt work.
I'm trying different things now though to see if i can get it to work.
Big pain. Everything desided to stop working now. Cant compile anaconda anymore, still cant compile gcos. And now PSOload is giveing me problems all of a sudden.
