For those of you who have it running with no glitches at all,
What Game ID is it?
What did you use to create the Eboot.php?
I am just curious because lots of people have the battle graphical glitch and a few don't. I would like to be able to play the game without any glitches and I am sure the others do too.

SCUS94476 (Hot Shots Golf 2 ID)
popstation compiled from source.
Everything works fine except the battle swirl which doesn't matter that much to me.

The battles look better to me in 3.03 opposed to 3.02.
I have no idea what the disc ID from the disc I used, sorry.

I used Zinga's popsgui with level 7 compression.
I use the plugin to load 3.02 on 3.03 so the battle swirl is fixed but i still have the problem with the status box in battle (when selecting a target)
If someone knows how to fix that (maybe a different level of compression, or so i've heard) I'd like to know how.

I have done a lot of testing with this. I have rebuilt my eboots several times using a variety of tools, mds has worked best for me too. I have used several popstation versions (the original, Tinnus' TOC modded one, Coldbirds copstation 2.21). The game id doesn't matter a bit unless you give all the CDs different ids in which case the savegame won't load on CD2, i have even tested with SCUS00000 and that worked fine too.
Pops 302 - Battle swirl is ok but the status box and Tifa's limit breaks are buggy.
Pops 303 - Battle swirl is gone, Tifas limit breaks are fine and the status box is almost fixed (slight flickering). I have noticed that if only 1 person is in the team it can cause the name etc. on the main bar at the bottom to flicker.
I have not managed to get it 100% perfect on either and i would say this is down to pops bugs rather than how you make the eboot. Remember that pops has not yet been updated to support FFVII so i'm just glad it even works ;)

You cant get it perfect unless sony or someone else fixes some parts of the emulator. All the above are true,i prefer playing ff7 with 3.03 as it runs smoother.
c0rderr0y i downloaded the us copy as i have the pal original and it has game id SCUS94163 but that really doesnt matter as your ff7 plays like mine

nobody has a perfect ff7 in his psp without any glitches.Every user meets what tiamatloc described,so if you re one of them dont worry, every one has these little bugs

Hmm,maybe i need to reconsider,Copstation looks promising:
Yet Another new Revision of Paladin... It fixed a Bug found by weltall that brought trouble with some Non-Linux Compilers.
Also I added Variable Y-Pos to the Source... that way you can now fully fix Games like FF7... :-)
but unfortunately i dont have linux to test it.

mds is one of the formats used by Alcohol 120% when ripping CDs and it contains a few bits of data that some other formats (such as iso) do not such as the CDA audio tracks. Next to mds i prefer bin/cues and i try to avoid using isos wherever possible as i've found that repacking cd dumps to iso doesn't work well.
I'm currently using copstation 2.21 katsika and it works really well, and i've had some nice successes using paladin to convert pal->ntsc too. If you don't have linux you can compile using cygwin and win32 binaries of both can be found on the paladin thread.
