sup people.... am just afraid of brickin a PSP so i hope you guys could help me out here... just need a a lil tutorial on the steps to downgradin a TA-082 2.50 PSP....
i successfully upgraded my other PSP that was 1.50 to 3.03 oeb... that one was ez with the steps.. but i know downgrading needs a lil more precautions because it has a higher chance of bricking... thanks peeps if you guys kno anythin thanks for the post.....

upgrade to sonys 2.71 (you can find the upgrade on psphacks) then downgrade using this http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=41039

thanks for the info... now that i have some of the stuff where do i put the 2.71 eboot file....
i got the idea... you upgrade to 2.71, then you downgrade to 1.50 then you upgrade again to 3.03 then i got myself a brand new psp but i guess am still reading more up on it and see the instructions.... the readme file explains but i guess am pretty freakin dumb to understand i guess....but am still tryin.. thanks anyway

you need to get 3 sony updates a 1.50 a 2.71 and a 3.03 all can be found on psphacks you also need hend for 2.71 that can be found there to download the downgrader that i linked to above and download the upgrader for 3.03OE-C that is here http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=46034 now you should have all the files you need (some will need renaming as the readme says)

BEFORE YOU START CHARGE YOUR BATTERY AND TAKE OUT ANY DISC THAT IS IN THE DRIVE
you need to update to sonys 2.71 by putting the 2.71 update in a folder called UPDATE (needs to be caps) then put that folder in your game folder run that when you get to 2.71 format your mem stick and put hend and the downgrader on it as the readme's says then run hend when the psp restarts check the version it should be 2.71hen (if it dont restart but freezes turn the psp off and try again) if it is you can then run idstorage change when that has done run the downgrader when finished you will have 1.50 format your mem stick again you then need to upgrade to 3.03OE-C follow the read me to make the data.dxar file copy it into the 303oeflasher folder like the readme says then you are ready to run the update if all goes well you will now have 3.03OE-C
