DS or DS Lite—Please Help ASAP, im going to the mall today!!

I think I have ‘nuff for a lite, but what should I get?:

+My brother has a car adapter for DS only
- Is the battery for the DS and Lite the same? Because if its hard to find batteries, because with the SP the battery is the same as the DS one but there’s a piece that stops u from putting it in! [R they actually different batteries or does Nintendo just want u to buy more batteries than u need?]
+ DS is cheaper!


What should I do, DS Lite don’t work with the car adapter but DS may be hard to find battery!!

I have a bricky (in terms of size, it still runs perfectly) fat DS, and I'm fine with it. There is not much different between the two, and the batteries are the same. I'm not sure what you're asking much, but the DS comes with a battery. No need to buy one.

The Lite is actually the same cost where I live, so if I get another DS it'll be a Lite. If the cost is no matter to you, get a Lite. If you don't want to shell out another $10, get a phat.

the bats r da same, cuz w/ GBsp and NDS... im gettig used and if the battery dies i may need a new one..

sorry to double post, but I goota prepalyed/used DS "Brick" they said the batterries are different but I can still get them...

DS's are ugly and bulky, get the DS Lite, it is smaller, slimmer and has a much brighter screen.

And it muuuuuuuuuch lighter. (I think it's called this way because of that fact XD )
That may sound as not a big problem but you have to play many games with one hand, because with the other you have to hold the stylus.

the stlus has been an issue, I hve to use a pen [non pointy end] or my fingerz since my DS didnt come w/ a stlyus and I dont think they make parts for it anymore. all the parts are diffrent!

I really fail to understand why you would pick the original DS over the DS lite. Yes its slightly more expensive, i'm not sure of the exact details since i come from the UK but it really is a far far superior console.

Design wise its just a beautiful little machine. In comparison the original DS just feels far too, and i know this sounds odd, much like a games console. The DSlite is probably the best designed (i'm talking asthetically here, i'm not sure of the hardware) console. Its just such a beautiful design.

You've made the wrong decision getting a normal DS i fear.

I to dont understand why anyone would get a normal DS instead of the DS Lite. I also dont understand why you would ask a forum what handheld to get and then make up your mind based on 1 comment and not wait for other peoples comments.
