IGN has gotten a hold of some of the some first ever shots of SEGA Rally on the PS3. And without further delay, here are two of them for your viewing pleasure...

We can exclusively reveal the first shots of SEGA Rally on PS3 - the newest entry in SEGA's mud-slinging driving game. Speed freaks with a fetish for filth will be delighted to hear the game's set to speed onto Sony's next-gen console this winter.
While these screens might not be actual in-race footage, they show off SEGA Rally's in-game engine splendidly, being "indicative" (according to a UK SEGA representative) of the final PS3 release.

Sony? use CGI screenshots as teasers and then release the game which ends up looking nothing like the CGI presented? NAWWWWWW can't be!
These are IN GAME screens, look at the speedometer, the position of the camera, the heads up display that shows you all the information of the track, it's all there just like it would be in game... right?... oh nevermind ;)
Wait someone said something about killzone 2??? nevermind might be *seeing* things again ;)

i for one think they are indeed IN GAME GFX!! if you look closely on the left pic,the rear headlight right on the top you can see jaggies that were blurred in to "look" smoothed out. at least thats what i think. and if it is indeed ingame gfx, thats what ps3 needs. by these screenshots, its looking really good. lets hope it plays as good as these screenshots look!:D

ah, seems like the ps3 follows exactly the same lead as the 360. starting up with basically no good games at all and then starting things up after a years with aproximately 5 good games. i guess i will buy me a wii first, wait until next year for buying a ps3 and consider buying a 360 when they have explored how to run homebrew on it.

It would be really nice to see that game looking that good and it is a possibility on the ps3. Me and my girl had a convo about racing games a few weeks back and her having an art bach. degree she says it's alot easier for companies to make racers look realistic than other genres.
Also it's coming from sega they usually come out with spetacular shi^ with graphics for racers.
EDIT:
if you go to ign and look at all the pics. look at the windshield it has alot of jaggies and look at the other areas of the cars on different pics. it actually looks like it's in game footage right after the race is done and it reviews the race over.

These are real time shots. You can see the jaggies if you go look at the high res images. There's more images.
