Noobz release 'Safer' version of DA's v2.8 Downgrader for PSP

Team Noobz have merged and ported Dark_Alex's v2.80 PSP downgrader to bring what they believe to be the 'BEST' v2.80 downgrader, boasting being both safe and simple to use.



A lot of people have asked for a downgrader for v2.80 that's both safe and simple to use. Well, the Noobz aim to please - we've merged and ported Dark_AleX's generic downgrader and TA-82 downgrader, to bring you what is probably the best v2.80 downgrader! :)

And as a bonus, we made this possible by porting Dark_AleX's HEN-D release to firmware v2.80, which means that if you don't want to downgrade yet, you now have a good platform for launching kernel-mode homebrew.

possible stupid question but... Can this be used on none TA-82 PSP?

I have a psp at v2.80 and its not a TA-82, i heard a downgrader was released for it but it wasn't getting very much positive feedback at the time. So can i use this one ?

Yes, this new 2.80 downgrader does 3 things. Downgrades 2.80 PSP's, Downgrades 2.80 TA-082 PSP's, and allows HEN-D to work on 2.80 PSP's.

I already helped someone earlier use this on a non TA-082 PSP and it worked like a charm.

Its not that this isn't getting much positive feedback. Its just that almost everyone interested in PSP homebrew has already downgraded, lol. From all I can tell this is a fantastic downgrader.

i downgraded 2 ta 82 psp today with this version and works fine.
except the hend tif works like one out of 5 try's.

No if its not a TA-82 their is no need to run the IDStorage changer as the IDStorage already supports the 1.5 IPL and bootstrap (power prx and other files)

Just run the downgrader and install 1.5 firmware with the generic downgrader.

To everyone who has problem seeing the blue/green HEN ok screen...if you set a custom wallpaper on your psp before "running" HEN-D/C the success chance is way higher!

Dark_Alex never made a 2.8 downgrader dumbass. That was 0okm. Get it right next time. And credit the real people that deserve credit for the original 2.8 downgrader.

works like a charm. :D successfully downgraded a friends ta-082 using this.

although just like been said on the readme regarding the hen enabler, it took me 4 tries to enable it but after that. its all smooth throughout the downgrade.

I even upgraded to 303 OEB immediately after the downgrade. now my friend owes me a dinner ;)

This is great for everybody who didn't dare to use 0okm's 2.8 dg!
I, however used the original 2.8 dg the same night it came out and i was shitzi scared but everything turned out good and now iäm runnin ARGH! who the hell will care what i write huh?! noone cares if i used the original 2.8dg and what fw i use, noone cares about anything, i don't blame anyone, i mean why would they care? I'm noone sopecial in there eyes, there is no reason what so ever that anyone cares about my freakin' PSP and it's history so why am i posting this and why is my sig the history of my PSP?! I DON'T KNOW!!
