I'm so tempted to flash my 360 drive so i can preserve my game discs and play backups. However my 360 is one of my prized possessions and I'm terrified of bricking it. How risky is this process. If I carefully follow the steps in the guide will it turn out fine? AHHHHHH!!!!

yes its always easy to get some one to do it for you but less fun
do it your self its easy and most off the flash progs out there
will not flash your drive unless it has a valid back up first

good luck m8 not that you'll need it:)

I've been toying with the idea of picking up a 360 and have been researching the process.. Just to clarify.. Are all current 360s that are out hackable? Meaning if I go to Best Buy (or wherever) tomorrow and get one, do I have to worry about certain things like you do with something like the PSP such as specific firmware and hardware revisions?

(Edit- Nevermind. I see that this question was answered a few posts down in another thread)

ive done like 10 360s now and not one brick infact not one error or problem. So its pretty safe.
