personally i really like PSP PDA (http://dl.qj.net/PSP-PDA-v1.2-Organization-Apps-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/408/catid/190), it has a notepad, calendar, calculator, and few other basic apps. very nice package, all in all.

actually bookr is what handles all of the txt and pdf reading in irshell.
